Thanks everyone.
DA - I fixed it. Math was a little shakey when I still had thoughts of him going through my head.
He hadn't had the easiest of time the last few years, so it is all really bitter sweet for me. I know he is better now and doesn't have to deal with the pain and effort to do the daily things he has had to fight, but he will be missed.
I saved Thor and his brother from a neighborhood dog by climbing into a wood pile on the verge of collapsing. Once I get them out - it did. Found them just after being weened from the looks of them at the time. This was the one cat out of all that passed through the family that bonded with me. The rest were normal cats. This one wanted nothing more to be with me when I lived at home and went back to visit. He would sit at the door and cry for hours when I had to leave. He meant a lot.
He had just grown old, and went down hill the list couple of years since his Brother passed on due to a hemmorage.
Tough on me, and even the wife, but he is better now. That I know. I hope to see him sometime again where he can sit at my feet like he always liked to, wanting no more than a rub behind the ears every now and then.

Yes, it's tough losing pets.
So sorry, Meg.
Don't know what I'd do if we ever lost one of our pets, especially my cat.
